I hope you had a great weekend! Below are some information for the coming week.
Weekly Review (11/30-12/4)
Since we were in the first week of Advent, we discussed everything about it. We started our Advent Wheel and Advent calendar, had another visit from the seminarian Mr. Flores, had a visit from our eighth grade friends to teach us about a Jesse Tree, went to First Friday Mass and went to the blessing of the school Christmas tree. Our test on Advent (Chapter 13) will be on Monday. Don't forget about the website!
In Math, we started using our new notebooks, with the hope that this is a better asset for the students. We are discussing (and will continue to discuss) adding to 20 in different ways.
In English Language Arts, we reviewed words that make the short /u/ sound, continued our Handwriting and practiced how to success complete a journal prompt. We are even getting into the habit of adding details, something that was an important topic with our weekly stories!
