DUE DATE: November 13, 2017
1. Create a Saint Introduction Poster with “Hello I am Saint _____________” and your Saint’s Feast Day on the front and three interesting facts on the back that are going to be easy for you to share for the Saints Parade on November 3rd (due November 2nd)
2. Create a Lapbook introducing your Saint. Your Lapbook should have the following:
A Cover – The cover should have a picture of your Saint, their name and their Feast Day. (The picture can be hand-drawn and colored or a copy from a Saint Book or Saint Card colored in.) Decorate as you choose.
Your Saint Introduction (The center of your lapbook) - This is the part of your project where you share the information you have chosen. This introduction should be in your own words (not straight from the internet or other information source) and tell the class the important information you think we should know about your Saint. The report needs to be handwritten. You will be receiving a handwriting grade as part of this project. The sides on the inside can be used to show any other pictures or Fun Facts you want to share.
(Remember to put your name on the back of each part of your project, check your spelling and indent your paragraphs. Also, remember to use capital letters where needed and remember to use correct punctuation.)
The most important thing about this report is to gather information about your Saint that you think the class should know and have fun yourself learning about your Saint. When the projects are complete, you will be the teacher, and share your project with the rest of us. I can’t wait to hear what you uncover and see the wonderful reports you design. You guys are such amazing detectives and are also incredibly creative!
***Remember to plan your costume because on November 3rd you get to be in The Saints Parade and share some fun facts about your Saint at First Friday Mass! Plan ahead as to what you are going to share that day.
