Dear Parents of Students in Grades 1 and 2:
Collecting data and then using the information garnered from that data is an important step in assessing the skills and needs of our students. The results also establish a benchmark (reference point) for each student.
After discussing with Sister Edward Quinn IHM, the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Assessment for the Archdiocese, our long range goals, which include the applying for the official continuation of our Blue Ribbon Status, we are following her recommendation of giving the students in grades 1 and 2 the Terra Nova Tests along with those in grades 3 through 7.
The testing will begin on Friday, February 26 and continue through Friday, March 4th.
