Fourth grade is ready for Halloween. I think just the thought of candy is making them excited. Our Halloween party will be Monday afternoon. The parade starts at 1:30 followed by a classroom party. Please join us if you can. We just started reading The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles in class The book is written by Julie Andrews and is a very creative tale about fanciful creatures. Within the story the characters wear scrappy caps and I told the kids they can make funny hats at home and bring them into school to wear as we read the book. No pressure, just fun if you can. Find an old hat and be creative.
A few reminders:
Hope you are getting to enjoy the beautiful fall colors and that they fill you with many blessings.
