Wednesday is spring picture day; the students may dress up or down for their pictures. A paper picture packet will be sent home; a copy with the options is available electronically here. At this time, you do not need to send in a check or order form; the proofs will first be sent home and then you can decide whether or not you wish to order them.
Also, on Wednesday, Mrs. Cipa will instruct the girls from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM and the boys from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
Thursday is our field trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the students need to wear their regular uniforms and comfortable walking shoes. Please click here for the field trip information packet; the students need to be dropped off at the train station between 7:30 AM and 8:05 AM; the train departs at 8:21 AM. We will arrive back in Yardley at 3:56 PM.
On Friday, Fr. Jim Badeaux of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic (a friend of Fr. Dalin) will be visiting the 5th grade to talk about the faith life of Eastern Catholics.
This is the last week to order tickets for the Mother/Son Evening at the Trenton Thunder on; click here for the form.
Next Monday, April 25th, Mrs. Laura Falcon (Gabrielle '09 & Alexander '12) of the Wells Fargo branch on South Main Street, will give a workshop to the 4th & 5th graders about saving. The presentation will be from 2:00 PM-2:30 PM in the 5th grade classroom.
Next Thursday, April 28th, Fr. McKale from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Doylestown, will be celebrating Mass in Latin (a Low Mass in the Extraordinary Form) at 1:00 PM, in the church, for the 5th and 8th grade classes. This will complement our study of the Mass from the second trimester and the 8th graders' study of church history and Latin. Parents are welcome to join us.
Remember to visit the 5th Grade page of school website for picture, handouts, homework, the assessment/project calendar, and an archive of the 5th grade newsletters.
Have a great week!
