I hope that you are all having an enjoyable weekend. Thank you so much to the 5th graders for their cooperation during this past Friday's trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art; during the tour, I received a complement about our class's behavior from another teacher in the museum. It was a pleasure spending the day with them in the city. Thank you so much to Mrs. Bontempo, Mr. de Jesus, Mrs. Deeds, Mrs. Eliason, Mr. Falkenstein, Mrs. Goldner, Mrs. Griesbaum, Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. McCarthy, Mrs. Ruppersberger, Mr. Schmitz, and Mr. Swan for accompanying us on the trip.
The photos from the field trip are posted on the 5th grade page of the school website; if you have any additional pictures, please email or text them to me so that I can include them in on the class page, in the yearbook, and in the end of the year slideshow.
I will be presenting the second part of the Protecting God's Children lesson on Tuesday morning during religion class; the lesson is posted here.
Spring pictures will be taken on Wednesday; the students may dress up or dress down for the pictures. I will be sending home the paper form tomorrow; an addition copy can be found here.
Barnes and Noble Night will be this Wednesday from 6:00 PM-8:00 Pm. The flyer can be found here. Summer reading books will be available for purchase, reading by teachers, cupcake decorating and more. You can order cupcakes (today is the last call) using the electronic form here.
Please keep our 6th grade class in your prayers as they will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation this coming Saturday.
We will be hosting St. Ignatius Day at Vince's Pizza next Sunday, April 30th. Vince's Pizza will donate 20% of the proceeds to our school; the coupon and flyer can be found here.
Please be sure to visit the 5th Grade page of the school website for copies of the newsletter, photos, forms, homework, and the assessment calendar. Your child's religion, ELA, and social studies assessment folder can be found here: Contact Assessment Link 2020
Have a great week!
