A very happy and blessed Easter to all of you! I hope that you are all having an enjoyable Easter Vacation; classes will resume on Wednesday.
We will start the book Number the Stars by Lois Lowry this week.
Click here for the field trip packet for Friday's trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Chaperones will receive their packet and tickets the morning of the trip. I will be at the train station for drop off beginning at 7:30 AM; all students and chaperones need to by at the station by 7:55 AM. Parking is 1.00 (payable in quarters) for chaperones who will be parking at the station.
On Friday, the students need to wear their regular uniform with comfortable walking shoes. The students also need to pack a snack and a lunch. The students may bring their lunch and camera (optional) in a small bag (such as the DARE draw-string bag); the museum does not allow backpacks.
Click here for information about our annual Trivia Night on Saturday. Babysitting is available in the school that evening (we use the gym to play and then watch a movie in the 5th grade classroom), and all proceeds will support the Fr. McCafferty Scholarship Fund.
Save the date for Barnes and Noble Night next Wednesday, April 26th. The flyer can be found here. Summer reading books will be available for purchase, reading by teachers, cupcake decorating and more. You can order cupcakes (due Friday, April 21st) using the electronic form here.
Please be sure to visit the 5th Grade page of the school website for copies of the newsletter, photos, forms, homework, and the assessment calendar. Your child's religion, ELA, and social studies assessment folder can be found here: Contact Assessment Link 2020
Have a great week!
