As a part of our Catholic Schools Week Service Project, each classroom will assemble 2 birthday boxes---one for a boy and one for a girl (age appropriate to their grade). Each year, Cramers Bakery is kind enough to donate bakery boxes to our school. SIS students will fill each box with all items associated with a "Birthday Celebration" (cake mix, paper plates, napkins, balloons etc). In addition, the exterior of the box will be decorated by our 6th Graders. Decorating each box will be completed in school during CSW. Once complete, all birthday boxes will be delivered to the Loaves and Fishes Pantry in Fairless Hills.
Below please find the doc.google.com link. Please open the link and sign up for an item (or items) you are interested in donating towards our Birthday Boxes. Each update will be visible to all parents accessing the link. This will minimize duplicate items.
If you could please send all birthday items to school thru Friday, January 29th, I would truly appreciate it.
Just a few reminders....
a.) Please send in a written notification (via e-mail or hand-written note) with regards to your child's absence, early dismissal, change of transportation, etc. I am emphasizing on absences, because legally, I need to document on our computer system the "Reason for Absence".
b..) If your child is absent, a student is assigned to write missed class/homework assignments; the compiled work is physically brought down and left on the Front Office bench to be picked up by 3:15 p.m.. If you prefer a sibling to bring home the work. please notify me via email.
If you have any questions or concern, please let me know.
Thank you for your cooperation, kindness and generosity!
