Dear 8th Grade Families,
I hope everyone has been enjoying their New Year thus far! The school year has been moving by so quickly. Can you believe Graduation is only five months away?
I wanted to give everyone a heads up for the coming week, as since it is Catholic Schools Week there are a number of Dress Down Days for the students to participate in.
Monday, January 30th: Dress Down Day for $1 to be donated to Catholic Charities
Students bring in one (1) can of soup for their ticket to the “Souper” Bowl
Tuesday, January 31st: Sports Theme Dress Down Day
Wednesday, February 1st: Red, White, and Blue Add on or Dress Down Day for $1 to be
donated toward buying Girl Scout Cookies for Servicemen/women
Thursday, February 2nd: Talent Show Dress Rehearsal
Friday, February 3rd: First Friday Mass at 9:00am
Passion Play Practice After School
Talent Show at 7:00pm
Our spring class trip destination had also been voted on by the students last week, and the winner was announced to them Friday morning. On Tuesday, May 16th, we will be spending the day in New York City, NY. Further details and official schedule of the day to follow.
