About Our School

Saint Ignatius of Antioch Catholic School is located in Yardley, Bucks County, PA, on several acres of land in a peaceful neighborhood setting.

Established in 1958 by The Sisters of Francis of Philadelphia, Saint Ignatius School provides the community with a well-rounded education from both an academic and religious standpoint.

Our Mission
Saint Ignatius employs professional staff members to carry out the mission of Catholic school education. Susan Tarrant, a progressive and dynamic leader, became principle of Saint Ignatius School in 2007 with the vision that Catholic school education can offer the best of private school academics while keeping tuition costs at bay. Progressive in our thinking, Saint Ignatius Catholic School aims to stay one step ahead of technology, academics, and the environment.


The Road Ahead
In 2008, Saint Ignatius School celebrates fifty years of Catholic school education.  Our dedicated faculty and staff continue to meet the challenges associated with change and the mission of Catholic education in the 21st century. With Blue Ribbon nomination and future plans to continue expansion and growth, progress is always on the horizon at Saint Ignatius.

Facilities
Building expansions in 1995 enabled Saint Ignatius Catholic School to install a pre-k program and greatly improve the existing kindergarten facilities.  During the same expansion period, the gymnasium, cafeteria, computer lab, and library were upgraded.

In 2006, a brand new science lab was built with the purpose of providing students the opportunity for detailed experiments and advanced learning.

In 2007, the library was completely remodeled. Future building improvements include updated lighting systems throughout the entire school, as well as additional projects yet to be announced.
