 Saint Ignatius Announcements and Events
- Saint Ignatius of Antioch Catholic School is proud to announce its recent award as a No Child Left Behind, Blue Ribbon School for academic excellence. One of only 13 in the state of Pennsylvania and 287 nationwide, this prestigious award comes at a time of great change and progress for our school.
- The Saint Ignatius school yearbook is underway. Please e-mail pictures along with names and descriptions to stignatiusyearbook@gmail.com, or send any CDs, DVDs, or photographs home with Andrew Iannacone, Grade 1.
- Recycle your old newspapers, magazines, and unwanted paper products in the school's new recycling bins. Located in several places in the school parking lot, the school receives funds in exchange for paper - so please drop them off!
- Saint Ignatius is famous for its talent show. Start turning those wheels in preparation for this exciting upcoming February event.
- Check the calendar for important school events and dates and don't forget 40-Hours Devotion!
- The new library is planned for completion during the 2007-2008 school year. Besides a fresh look and a larger selection of reading materials, four Internet-ready computers will be available for scheduled student use. Volunteers are needed to help for a smooth transition.
- This year, Saint Ignatius celebrates its 50th anniversary! Please stay tuned for many exciting activities and events for current families, parishioners, and alumni. If interested in helping coordinate these events, please contact Eileen Doyle.
- In an effort to streamline communication, minimize costs, and reduce paper, this website will offer on-line forms, homework assignments, timely announcements, and more. If you have Internet access, please join in our mission to become a more economical and ecological organization!
