The Home and School Board is once again conducting a survey to inform our parents about the committees for involvement in our sponsored events, and giving everyone the opportunity to sign up and become more involved in our school. Please keep in mind any grandparents or caregivers who have the proper clearances are also more than welcome to volunteer.
The survey outlines all the events and responsibilities involved so that parents can see where they might best be able to assist. If you are considering chairing an event and work well with someone who you know is also considering it, remember that there may be co-chairs for any event. It's also important to know that the Home and School Board is always available to offer guidance in running an event. Over the years we have collected detailed information about running each event, and this information is provided to the chairs for their use. Furthermore, all publicity (flyers, ticket sales, etc.) related to the event are electronically stored for ease of use.
Finally, we know that this is only the spring and things may change by the next school year, so by no means does this lock you in for a particular event. Rather, we will use the information gathered to make up committees and those individuals will be contacted before the event to confirm you are still able to participate. If things have changed, you can let the chairperson know at that time.
As always, we appreciate all your support throughout the year!
If your survey is completed and returned by May 15th, your child will be given a dress down day for May 16th.
