Principal
Mrs. Susan Tarrant comes to Saint Ignatius of Antioch Catholic School from a 13-year commitment to Saint Bridget School in Cheshire, Connecticut, where she served as principal for five years and teacher for the first eight.
Susan is no stranger to hard work. Her unique combination of creativity and business savvy has won her many favorable positions. In Cheshire, she combined her artistic, teaching, and management skills and started the area's first art center.
A Master's Degree (MAT) from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, Mrs. Tarrant is certified in Catholic School Administration. Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary and Special Education from Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
Married with two sons, Mrs. Tarrant is glad to be in the Philadelphia area, closer to her relatives. She enjoys reading, walking, quilting, decorating, and playing tennis, when she's not relaxing in Cape May.
Susan looks forward to a long commitment with Saint Ignatius. Her fresh ideas and strong character are the perfect combination to lead our school into the future. E-mail Mrs. Susan Tarrant.
