Nurses Office

The nurse's office is staffed by a Pennsbury School District nurse on Wednesdays and a St. Ignatius Health Aid Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday who both provide nursing care to our students if they are injured or become sick during the school day. The nurse's office also administers medications that need to be given in school as well as provides vision, hearing, height, and weight screening annually.

If your child becomes sick during the school day, the nurse will notify you using the information that you provide on the nurse's office emergency card; these cards are given out at the end of the year and need to be filled out and promptly returned for each child; please notify the office or nurse's office of any changes. This emergency card is also where you indicate any health concerns or issues that your child may have that the health office needs to be aware of.

When a student is seen be a doctor or the emergency room, please make sure to send in a note, to the nurse's office, from a physician regarding restrictions for gym, recess, etc (especially if your child has a cast or crutches).

If your child needs to be picked up, he or she will wait in the nurse's office and can be signed out from there.
