St. Ignatius School strives to provide a quality Catholic education to all families. While the primary sources of operating funds for the school come from tuition and parish contributions, we do our best to offer financial assistance for families who have a financial need in two ways:
The Fr. McCafferty Scholarship Fund, funded by generous school families, parishioners, and community members, provides assistance to families to provide their children with a Catholic education.
BLOCS/EITC allows businesses and individuals in Pennsylvania to contribute to financial aid for our students while receiving a state tax credit.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia/BLOCS & St. Ignatius of Antioch School for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link here: online.factsmgt.com/aid.
Once you complete an online application, you will need to send the following information to FACTS to complete the application process:
Copies of your 2018 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
Pay a $30.00 application fee.
We recommend you upload all supporting documentation in PDF format online.
You can also fax documentation to 866-315-9264 or mail it to the address below. Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.

Fr. McCafferty Scholarship Fund:
Families who are in need of financial assistance for tuition are urged to apply for BLOCS aid through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website. In addition, our parish is blessed to have the Father McCafferty Scholarship Fund to assist families with their financial needs when sending their children to our school.
As in the past, the Pastor will request a meeting with the parent(s)/guardian(s). In addition, families must complete a financial disclosures form, which can be found on our school website. Two members of the parish Finance Council review the financial disclosures and provide guidance on the amount of the award that can be offered to the family. The financial disclosures form is "black-lined" to ensure that the family name and their information is kept confidential. After considering the recommendation of the Finance Council and based on his personal meeting with the parents, Fr. Brownholtz will decide on the scholarship award and communicate with the family.
To apply for tuition assistance, families should call the rectory and schedule a meeting with Father Brownholtz. Please submit all requested documents at the time of the meeting.
All decisions on scholarship awards will be made by the end of April. However, we understand that situations arise at various times and the Pastor is willing to meet with families about their financial needs at any time during the year.
If there are any questions on this process, please contact the Tuition Coordinator, Dorothy Aschenbrenner, at the rectory at 215-493-3377 or at email@example.com.
"I have many fond memories of St. Ignatius. I remember meeting the Letter People in Kindergarten, many football games at recess, the talent show and getting to be a prayer partner for a first grader. Throughout those nine years at St. Ignatius I began to develop the study skills and foundation for what I built on in high school, West Point and flight school."
